This page is designed to help at the EdomApp configuration. It presents options available in the version 1.7. released in January 2014.
To be sure that all works fine, please update the app at your Android device to the newest version.
Start from importing your settings (PLC/Connection->Import Configuration) or enter data manually. When you are done, save the config, export it to the database and import at your Android device!
PLC/Settings includes options for PLC configuration. You can also import/export your settings there.
Themes are based on jQeury Mobile themes. There are 3 color-sets available.
Scene Manager has been added to version 1.7. Allows configuration of scenes, which can be later assigned to buttons.
Screens are the main panels of control. You can add one by pressing the "+Add Screen" button.
When the app is running switching between screens is done by swiping left or right accross the panel.

The address of your PLC is usually a full IP within your network starting with "http://" and ending with "/" (for example: "http://192.168.1.10/").
The refresh rate decides how often the app asks your PLC for information. Usually 5 seconds is enough for smooth functioning. You can try less but entering a too small number might slow everything down.
You might want to export your configuration for two reasons: to edit it on your PC via a web page (www.edom-plc.pl/wago/EdomApp/) or to import it to another device.
Here is the list of defined scenes. You can add an empty scene with the "Add Scene" button. Clicking a scene name will move you to scene configuration screen.
Once a scene is configured you can assign it to a button. Go to Screen->Group->Element edition and choose 'Scene' as the button type. Then choose the desired scene name.
Name of the scene will be displayed during the configuration and used when a scene button is configured.
Cloning Scene will help you create more scenes with the same set of items.
Remove Scene button deletes the scene. You will be promped for confirmation.
Scene Items are elements to be switched when a scene button is pressed. They are like tap buttons but the target state must be given. Accepted values are 1 or 0.
Once a scene button is pressed the app checkes if at the Read Address the value is equal to Target State. If not the Write Address is tapped (sending 1 followed by 0).
The name of the screen will be visible at the very top of each panel.
You can reorder your screens by pushing the up and down arrows. Naturally, no reordering is possible if you have only one screen.
Currently there are 2 display types to choose from: the first is based on buttons arranged in columns and the second is based on a listview. Give it a try!
You can also remove the screen by pressing the blue button. You will be asked for confirmation and afterwards you can always decide to cancel the changes.
The Groups are containers of control fields. Each group will be separated by a title or a separator bar.
To add a group press the "+Add Group" button.
The name of the group will be shown as a separator between buttons or a description bar on the list view.
You can reorder your groups by pushing the up and down arrows. Naturally, no reordering is possible if you have only one group.
Number of columns has effect only on the "Buttons" display type and decides in how many columns the buttons will be arranged.
You can remove the group by pressing the blue button. You will be asked for confirmation and afterwards you can always decide to cancel the changes.
The Elements are the control fields. Click one of them to edit the details.
To add an element press the "+Add Element" button.
The name of the element will be show as a label describing the control field.
You can reorder your elements by pushing the up and down arrows. Naturally, no reordering is possible if you have only one screen.
The read and write parameters are needed for communication with the PLC. Read is usually a PLC in or out (QX3.1 or IW0) and write can be a dedicated variable (MB0). For more details go to www.edom-plc.pl.
NEW! You can enter more than 1 write addresses in the write field. Just separate them with ";", like "MB1;MB2". If you do so, one button will TAP more than one variable. It can be usefull for controlling more than one blind.
Element type decides what type of control field is shown on the screen. Try them all to see the difference.
You can also remove the element by pressing the blue button. You will be asked for confirmation and afterwards can always decide to cancel the changes.
You are about to export your configuration to an external server.
If the export is successful you will receive a 6-digit key, which you can use to import your setup.
The data on the server is not maintained, can be deleted at random intervals and can be accessed by anyone entering the key.
Unsaved changes to the configuration will not be included in the export.
