My adventure with home automation began when I decided to have an 'intelligent' hose.  I knew absolutely nothing about it at that time.  Slowly, step by step, asking questions and searching through google I managed to draft a scheme of the future system. 

During the house construction, when all the wires were already covered with plaster the time came to mount all elements in the central cabinet, connect the wall switches and code the PLC. It was a long way, full of unavoidable corrections, tests and failures.  Despite that, I see all that currently functions to be smart and valuable. I hope that the description of the small steps I made will be of use to the readers. 

Please treat all that you find here as an inspiration to build a similar system at your homes.  At the end of the day - it is nothing difficult.  All you need is some time and courage.
